- Mohammad Abdul Baset is an academic and industry professional in the field of Textile Engineering (Apparel) with extensive experience in teaching, research, and the textile industry. He completed his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Apparel) from the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) and M.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Apparel) from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU). He also earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka (DU) and is currently a PhD Researcher at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET).
He has worked in several renowned textile and apparel organizations, including Squire Knit Composite, Sinha Textile Group, OPEX, Centre for Sustainable Solution (CSS), and FCI (BD) Ltd, and has also served as a consultant at Suad Garments, DEPZ.
With over 17 years of teaching experience, he has been associated with Daffodil International University, Prime Asia University, and International Standard University. Currently, he is serving as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Textile Engineering, and Assistant Proctor at Sonargaon University (SU).
