- Diamond Roy is a Lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering at Sonargaon University (SU), Dhaka. He is involved in teaching undergraduate courses in Yarn Manufacturing Engineering and related subjects. He completed his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Yarn Engineering) from the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) with a CGPA of 3.70 and is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Yarn Engineering) at BUTEX. His academic background has provided him with a strong foundation in yarn manufacturing, textile materials, and applied engineering principles. His research interests include sustainable yarn development, textile materials engineering, graphene-based e-textiles, and eco-friendly fiber blending, with an emphasis on functional and advanced textile applications. Through teaching, research assistance, and academic engagement, he aims to promote research-driven learning, innovation, and quality education in textile engineering.
